Tringey Barn, a Cornish stone barn conversion based on a working farm near Hayle. The barn needed a fresh new look to prepare it for a holiday let. A reverse level property with a living area on the first floor, bedrooms on the ground floor.
A master bedroom with a triple aspect and high vaulted ceilings. Two windows dressed with double pinch pleat blackout lined linen curtains. The curtains hung high above the window and wide to clear the window when open. These hung from wooden poles. A third window in this room on a faux door has a single curtain.
Bed two has little space between the top of the window and the ceiling. We chose silent a Silent Gliss face fixed track and hung a pair of colour block pinch pleat curtains. A second window in this room on a faux door has a Roman Blind.
Childrens/Twin room, the window has a deep recess and a bed next to it. As it would be used by guests as a childrens room we chose curtains hung from a track but not to the floor to allow for the bed. This gives maximum blackout in the room.
The first floor is light and airy. Sheer curtains dress the living area windows. These filter the light and soften the vaulted ceilings. Hung between the beams to create height in the window.
