Velvet interlined curtain for a St Ives cottage door.

The finishing touches for this St Ives living room. Situated in Downalong St Ives the cottage has been lovingly and tasetfully restored with the owners keeping many original features. knowing that the cold winter sea air can whistle throught the back streets of St Ives this curtain provides a layer of luxurious insulation when it is pulled across the door working as a very effient and cost effective draft excluder.

A single pinch pleat curtain heading was chosen with a layer of interlining hand sewn into place and finished off with a quality lining. The curtain stacks back out of the way of door traffic when open and looks like a feature of the room.
